This is all just to give me an idea of the day. I am very easy going, and happy to go with the flow... I’m organized, but extremely flexible! So no stress from me if things change along the way.

I do know that couple photos will be key, so be sure to allow that the most time in your day!

Please outline any divorces (parents of Bride and Groom), family dynamics, or drama I should be aware of when trying to pose groups.

Are you doing a ‘first look’ before the ceremony, or will first look be walking down the aisle?

Please outline a timeline of your day, including the location for each event and make notes of anything in particular you want me to try to photograph so I can do my best to get it. Include the time and location of posed photos and when you want me arriving at the start of the day.

Is the reception a full meal, appetizers, or something else?

Are you providing food for me, or should I bring my own?

How many guests will be attending?

If not already outlined in the timeline please let me know a quick run down of events at the reception.

I will be photographing lots of details – decor, dress, flowers, shoes, rings etc etc, but if there are any little elements (Great Grandpa’s cufflinks?), that I may not realize the significance of please tell me:

Anything else different, or unique I should be ready to photograph?

Are there any rules of the ceremony I should be aware of – specifically is flash photography allowed?

(Some churches do not allow flash)

Please list the posed photo combinations you want to get during the posed photos.

(Bride and Groom is obvious, but Bride with Great Aunt Matilda may not be so obvious!)

Will you be using certain hashtags for your wedding to share on Instagram?

Please list the names of other businesses/individuals so I can give credit in pictures.

(Makeup artist, hairstylist, flowers, cake, décor, dress, etc.)

And let me know any other details I should have!

Some thoughts:

- As part of the posed photos it’s nice to get the bride and groom on their own for about 30-60 minutes of just couple photos.

- Try to keep anything important to have photographed near the start of reception, I plan to stay for any speeches, toasts, cake cutting, first dance, a few of everyone dancing etc... but please be mindful of keeping the important stuff near the start.

- Make sure that Bride, Groom, and other key players have my cell # 902-690-7744

- Please do not hesitate to have me grab photos of random things along the way, and be sure to ask any questions at all! I’m very easy going, and very happy to catch anything I can!
